8- 9 July 2022 Ragazze nel Pallone festival in Padua, Italy, we presented the EWSE themes, inclusiveness, accessibility, visibility of women’s sports events, we involved female athletes and listened to their voices why there is still a great need for events like this, where girls and women can have space to play, meet, decide and participate.

We launched the digital map of women’s sports events in Europe, which will soon be implemented by the partners. The councillor for sport of the municipality of Padua Diego Bonavina, the athletes of several Italian football teams registered for the tournament, and the organiser Elisabetta Torresin, whom we thank.

Irish Weelchair Association participated, with EWSE partners, in the discussion on sport and disability giving a European perspective, with the captain of the women’s national wheelchair basketball team Chiara Coltri and the vice-captain of the national amputee football team Emanuele Padoan.
